Tube Santoprene® Tubes

The Santoprene®* tube is particularly suitable for use in peristaltic pumps. It is suitable for transporting aqueous chemicals and polar solvents (alcohols, glycols), as well as for use as a tube for peristaltic pumps in the pharmaceutical industry. The Santoprene® tube is a good alternative to the PharMed®* BPT tube and also has the same properties. The service life of 1'200 operating hours has been tested with a peristaltic pump equipped with 3 rollers at 150 rpm and a hose size ø4,8x1,6mm.

- Thermoplastic elastomer TPE
- Temperature resistance: -45°C to +135°C, short-term +150°C possible
- Hose hardness (Shore A): 65 +/-5
- Colour: light beige
- Standards: FDA 21 CRF §177.2600 (e), biocompatible acc. to USP class VI, global migration acc. to EU 10/2011 and EC 1935/2004
- Very good chemical resistance to aqueous media, acids, bases and many organic solvents, especially ketones, esters, ethers and aldehydes.
- Neutral in taste and odour
